Delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visits the RFCL


On August 6, delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led by Nguyen Quang Thai, Acting Director General of the Department of Personnel and Organization, after visiting a number of Russian state institutions visited the Russian Federal Chamber of Lawyers.


During the meeting Gennady Sharov, Vice-President of the RFCL, told the guests about the structure of the bodies of lawyers’ self-government and the current state of the Russian legal profession.

Svetlana Volodina, Vice-President of the RFCL, spoke about a procedure of obtaining of advocate's status in Russia and skills upgrading system for advocates.

Vakhtang Fedorov, Advisor to the RFCL President, noted that taking into account friendly and fruitful relationships between Vietnam and Russia, it is also necessary to develop relationships between the Chambers of lawyers of both countries.

It was agreed to start work in this direction.
