On August 6, a meeting between Béatrice Lombard-Martin, Founder and Executive President of Swiss-Russian Forum Foundation, Yuri Pilipenko, RFCL President, and Gennady Sharov, RFCL Vice-President, was held in RFCL.
Swiss-Russian Forum (SRF) is a non-governmental organization established in 2006 on the initiative or representatives of the economic community, as well as lawyers specializing in legal support of business. SRF strives to develop an integrated approach to all relevant problems of modern society considering them simultaneously in legal, economic, political, and cultural terms. Accordingly, diplomates, scientists, politicians, economists, and cultural figures, along with lawyers, are SRF participants. The main task of the Forum is to facilitate the exchange of information, experience and knowledge, and the expansion of long-term relationships between Switzerland and the Russian Federation. The projects implemented by the SRF, congresses, seminars, master classes, and symposia held by it are aimed at bringing the two countries closer together and smoothing the differences between them in the legal, economic, scientific, technological, cultural, and political fields.
The participants of the meeting discussed prospects for further cooperation in the general context of relations between Russia and Switzerland as well as European Union.
It should be noted that the Russian Federal Chamber of Lawyers and Swiss-Russian Forum Foundation have established long-standing and strong relations.
Holding a seminar for Russian lawyers on arbitration in Switzerland, awarding the Suvorov Prize for the best Russian-Swiss innovation project, as well as discussions within the Matryoshka Dialogue - Disclosure of the Nature of Things project are among common initiatives and events.
